Set in a nature reserve, the indigenous Flora attracts a large variety of bird life and small animals like antelope and bush pig, etc. The site has also become popular with the Plettenberg Bay bird-watching club and is home to a large colorful bird known as the Knysna Loerie (Taurco corythaix).
